GOOD night :-)
So it's 1 am and I'm all smiles.... can't sleep.
let's see, Friday I saw Samuel in Walmart. That was pretty kickin'! I miss that kid like none other. That must have been the highlight of my day, because I don't remember what else I did.
OH! I went in to rent Dodgeball with the mother unit. First off, let me just say that movie is AMAZING! "You're about as useless as a poopy flavored lollipop." Second off, I got to rent it from this FABULOUS guy I know, named Derrick :-) It was nice to see him! I hadn't seen him in a couple of weeks, so it was nice to see that smile.
Later that night, Amanda and I went to see Spanglish, because we were interrupting Brandon, Aaron and mom's movie LOTR. GAY! I hate those movies. So Brandon said he'd pay us to shut us up, so we went to our own movie. It was good. Maybe not something I'd watch again over and over, but it was nice to see a sensitive side of Adam Sandler. Seriously, that guy in the movie is the man of my dreams. And I LOVED his daughter. Oh man alive. She was supposed to be the "chunky, ugly" girl, but I loved her. I hope my daughter is that kickin'! After that, we came back and talked in my room for quite a while about this certain boy... well, boys. One in particular that I'm liking though. :-)
Saturday I got up around 1ish. Haha. Got around, finished Derrick's scarf, took mom to Bill's Steak House for her birthday with Brandon, Aaron and Amanda. My steak was so flipping good. Oh man, if I could have framed that in memories of how glorious it was, I would have. However, I think meat starts to spoil maybe. Just a thought. Amanda's steak was how Aaron wanted his cooked, and his was how she wanted hers cooked, so they both didn't eat much. I ate way past my thanksgiving miserableness. It was splendid! Then we went to see National Treasure. Not a bad movie. Pretty good. Not what I thought it was going to be, which is GOOD. Before the movie started, Amanda and I ran to get mom's present (from amanda and Brandon- I knew what she wanted to so I helped them get it for her), but the wrapping lady was nowhere to be found. We finally got her in her department and it still took her another 10+ minutes to wrap it, so all in all a 5 minute trip took over 35 and we missed part of the movie. It was great.
The four of them then played Cranium, to settle our tied record. Usually I play but I was wrapping this one boy's presents. :-) I got him spongebob stuff and made him a scarf. Bet you can't guess who it was for :-P Derrick came to open them after he went bowling with his friends and stuff. He didn't look too stoked so I was bummed, but I later found out that he's in love with his scarf :-) yeehaw. Score big.
We then watched Dodgeball.... again, because it was supposed to be returned Saturday by noon. And if I was paying for another late fee, it was going to be because we watched it. So I made them watch it. I ended up going to bed though :-P My bad.
Today (Sunday) I slept in. I got up at 11 to take a shower after everyone else, but they all decided at 11 to take a shower. SO I was getting irritated that everyone hadn't showered yet. I went back to sleep until 1 when my brother obnoxiously woke me up, telling me everyone was done. So I got around late. I went in to rent White Chicks and pay my late fee. Saw this cute kid working again.... it's beginning to look like a pattern. Derrick was busy. I stormed in, grabbed my movie and even with him staring at me, I started dinging the little service bell. He looked ticked off and gave me the "One second" look. I thought he was having a bad day so I left him a message when I got home to cheer him up. :-P I ate lunch, watched the Elf for the like 4th time this week, then took a nap. I would have kept sleeping (it was like 6 something when I got up) but I heard Mark's dad in the kitchen. So I came down, and talked to his parents for a little bit. They dropped off a Christmas card and gave us the latest news on Mark. :-( Please pray for him. He's not doing so well. He was going to wait until after Christmas to go to rehab, but it looks like he might be spending Christmas in jail! :-( :'( I'm so scared for that boy. But maybe this is good, to wake him up! I am sad telling you this, as several of you have not met Mark and may think he's a bad person. He's not, honestly, he's not. I think all of this would be easier for me to deal with if we didn't end our relationship on a good note. I mean, we both still had feelings for one another. He's still a huge part of my life, even though I am moving on. I have to. I can't sit around and wait.....
After I ate dinner, I went to watch a movie with Derrick. :-D :-D Let's just say there's something there. I am going to leave it at that. He's an awesome guy and the night went well. I'm excited to see what's in store for us.
And now here I am, off to bed. I probably will sleep til 1, go shopping with mom, go shopping with Evan and then??? Who knows. I'm pooped though, that's for sure. And I miss my Lacy and Kiesh. :-( I love you all! Have a fabulous week!!!!
