So it's November 1st, at 12:27 am.
It's been a good, relaxing weekend. I thought I had so much to do, but things worked out super well. Friday night, I was supposed to hang out with Evan. However, he ate a whole pizza and being lactose intolerant, I'm not sure that's a good idea. So yeah.... I ended up spending the evening in my room crochetting and looking at clothes online. I did order a FABULOUS coat! I'm super stoked about it. It's reversible. One side's orange and the other's this reddish color. I got a hat, mittens and a scarf to go with it. My mom and I overnighted it. However, the next morning I had an email saying that because I have a PO Box, they can only do 4-7 day shipping. That blows. It might come this weekend while I'm in C-Dub! But hopefully it comes Thursday or Friday before I leave.
Hmmmm Saturday I woke up at 11, went to lunch and did the "Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat" thing. That was a BLAST! Seriously, I've determined that Kiesha Henry is my hero. :-) She gave us directions to get to the Center of Hope, where we were taking all of the collected canned food to, and she totally didn't get a single direction on the list right. As if that wasn't bad, she called US because SHE was lost and had no idea how to get there! I was dying. She is absolutely a riot and a half! I think we're going to start dating.
Saturday night I went to the candy/costume fest with my brother. This kid totally rocked my socks off by dressing as a shower (like from karate kid). It was the best thing ever. Seriously. The whole event was pretty.... boring though. Aaron and I left after about an hour. Gave us time to eat and run :-) Heck, if we get free pizza and carmel apples, you better BELIEVE that Autumn and Aaron Tagert will be there! OH! I saw Ashley Brace (who got engaged last weekend) and WHOA MAMA look at that "rang on her fanger"! Man alive! That is seriously the most beautiful engagement ring. If only it were white gold...... ;-) Not a huge fan of yellow gold. Don't like it at all in fact. I'm so stoked for her. Cowabunga!
After that, I hung out with Evan. We went to K-Mart to get some random items (I got triscuits and easy cheese! Oh man alive, it's been so long since I've had that. I am so incredibly happy. It was expensive but WELL worth it!) After that, we went to taco bell. I must recommend you try the new spicy chicken soft taco.... without tomatoes of course. But seriously, this was the most beautiful taco I've ever eaten. Ooooo that's good. We watched "Along Came Polly" in Williams lobby on the big screen while woofing our food down. Excellent.
Today church was kickin'. Seriously. I am definitely glad that I forced my lazy butt out of bed today. It was tempting to stay there because the room was cold and my blanket was warm. Also, after getting an extra hour of sleep (WAHOO!) from setting our clocks back, I just wanted to keep sleeping. But uhhh the praise and worship was amazing today. Bebo Norman played a couple of songs for us. He's a VERY talented artists. The message was also awesome, focusing on Matthew 5:7. Remind me to have a Mercy Jar for my kids when I am older. Awesome story.
Today I did some homework and took a mini nap before dinner. Then Aaron and I went to taco bell. :-) Yummy. Bet you can't guess what I got ;-) Hehehe. Then he made me use a meal at Sodexo to get us some ice cream. Yummy sundae bars!
I finally got to talk to Brittany Carr tonight! *CLAP CLAP CLAP* Man alive, I miss that girl so much. We're floating down the river in the same boat, with our boyfriend situations right now. She's encouraging me though, how she's totally finding God and seeking Him through everything. YAY! But yeah, we're going to hang out Friday when I get home. I'm guessing there'll be a lot of crying and a lot of laughing. I'm stoked because we're going to have our own little Bible study. Stellar! I'm so excited! She's such a doll. I wish we didn't have to put up with boys like this. It's hard because we love them so much. I love Mark so much- even his faults. So it's really hard to figure out where things are going and what he's thinking. Guys seem to be somewhat (A WHOLE LOT) unemotional and cannot communicate what they're thinking too easily. Grrrrrrr! How frustrating! But that's ok, God definitely helped us get in touch right now, when we need each other the most.
Well, now that God rocks my face off again, I'm going to bed. I have to get up early for Anatomy, which is clearly of satan. Seriously. Ask any of the nursing majors and they will tell you the same. The body is just so stinking complex. However, it's what made me really look into nursing. God made the human body SO complex and detailed. He's so crazy imaginative! Whoa. Blows me away. Thanks God! *clap clap* C'mon, give Him a round of applause everyone!
Ok I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Take care of yourself and I will catch you later! :-D I love you all so much! Especially my bro-tah Kevin who fell off the face of the earth. I miss you kid! Night and God bless!
