I keep seeing this meme everywhere, so after
Dress A Day's invitation, I decided to join in the fun... Unfortunately, I can't really think of anything I haven't said before.

- Games- I own quite a collection of board games including the Baby Shower Game, the Wedding Shower Game and about 7 Checkers boards and 5 Chess sets (left over from when I was a teacher). By far the favorite with the kiddoes is this three game set that is a combo pool table, basketball court and ice hockey rink, but I have several other games for kids too such as Candyland and the Allowance Game. For adults, I have my new favorite game: Apples to Apples as well as several other traditional games Life, Scrabble, Payday, Battleship, the Survival Game, and to be honest, I can't remember them all, but that's not even half. Oh, and we played my Harry Potter Trivia Game on Christmas Eve. Picture the five of us sitting around a storage container that we were using as a coffee table: me-the HP fanfic reader/writer, my sister Julie-equally HP crazed, my brother-in-law who's been reading HP to his son since the child was an infant, his wife-my other sister who while not a crazed fan is still in the know, and my mom who's read the first book once and seen the first movie once, and none other. Guess who won? Yup, my mom.
- I have a scar on my forehead too, but where Harry Potter gained his scar by defeating, even if only temporarily, the Dark Lord, I was run over by a rocking chair when I was five. I did get stitches though...that makes it cool, right?
- Shampoo Fetish- I always have at least three different sets of shampoo around my tub. I don't buy the super-expensive-only-sold-in-a-salon type of shampoo, but that is only because I am too poor. I do buy the best that I can reasonably afford and I make sure that I have plenty, and always with the matching conditioner. It annoys me to no end when either the shampoo or the conditioner are left when the other is used up.
- Amish Quilts and Countryish Quilts- People assume that if a person like quilting that they like all kinds of quilting. This is not correct. I tend to like contemporary and/or bright quilts. I don't like the Amish style of quilts where they only use solid fabrics, because that is boring to me. I also don't like quilts that I think are too country, for example, gingham is always a no.
- Online Dating Services- Every now and again someone will suggest to me that I should try online dating. What they don't know is that I did try it once many years ago, and with disasterous results. I've been told since then that leaders in the church discourage online dating, but it doesn't matter either way. I'm not going there again!
And I tag....
