so... as many of you know, this is my favorite song. Its also my philosophy on friendships. Not one person that I can think of that would be reading this would know just what kind of friend I am. I'm loyal.. to the core. Messing with my friends is as bad (or worse) as messing with me. Yeah, so there's none of that "well they didn't do anything to me" bullshit. Friendship to me means standing up for someone you care about when necessary. loyalty. I guess that's one reason that I don't consider myself to have a lot of friends. But the ones I do have... I know will stand by me no matter what. As I will for them. There's no backstabbing, no question of where someone stands. I put myself out there as a friend... when I love someone like that, let them into my life like that... I'd do anything for them. As the song states... lean on me. Thats the kind of friend I am. Its also the kind of friend I expect. Unfortunately, there just aren't that many like that around.
