So yesterday I went to my grandparent's house because of my birthday. Mind you, that was a whole month ago, but I was busy with Fame.
Anyway we saw everyone and stuff. I think I only didn't return like 3 things I got hahah. Jessica is pregnant again and those guys gave me Nene's book-which I already have-so I returned that. Claire and her bunch gave me purple pjs that I would have kept but they were a large. I mean, like, do I look like a large? Lol I'm like 5'2 and only like 110 lbs. I normally take xsmall. And grandma gave me all these clothes from Old Navy and stuff like that. I don't get it honestly. I dragged her around for a week this summer going shopping and still she buys me khakis and rose colored tops. She also gave me a $75 gift card to Old Navy and I can never really find stuff I actually wear there and so I was stuck with $150 worth of things at Old Navy to buy. Kathy gave me the little Willow flower fairy and it is so cute :) I need to find a good place for her with all my fairies. My grandma is also, mildly insane. Her favorite color is lime green and she calls it "funky green". One year all I got was bright green stuff from her. So this year I got this broom that is all rainbow stripes lmao. Yes I love my gay pride broom very much hahahahah. She also gave me 500 Fairy Motifs and I just love it. I really love seeing some of the art and being like "hey! I know that person!". It's really cool.
And then everyone left and we watched the new episode of South of Nowhere and then Freaky Friday. South of Nowhere is totally beating Degrassi for it's drama, I mean, like their whole family is having issues and her mom is crazy. Sometimes when I watch it though it's like is that ever going to happen to me? And then I wonder if my parents wonder if their ever going to have to deal with stuff like that with me. You know, if they know, and I think they might.
If you don't watch the show then I guess what I just said doesn't make much sense.
And today we hung out with little Andy before we left. Me and my mom went gift exchanging. The purple pjs and these purple pillows that would have horrified Kit (our cat, who is terrified of square pillows, honestly, she hid under my bed for a whole week once) were both from Linens and Things and I got a new bed set thingy! It's all that princess material, you know that shiny stuff, and all burgundy and patchwork with other shades and it's sooo lovely and it goes better with the whole goth thing that I'm trying to do unsuccessfully with my room.
Old Navy was next and I actually spent all the money. I figured I'd never like the clothes so I spent it all on pjs and lougey things lol. I got little shorts and a cami and these really comfy purple pants and yoga pants and socks and this amazingly comfy pink robe. And these really cool black wedge heel shoes.
Went to Hot Topic to return the Nene book and this ugly music notes shirt. I got a pretty lacey corset. The only problem is the boob holders that I have nothing to fill with lol. I think if I wear a push up bra it will work okay, this one is too small anyway. And a Metropolis sampler cd because I had money left over.
And on the rides there and back I made my mom listen to Cinema Strange and Katzenjammer Kabarett. I gave her the option of me just listening to them on my headphones but she likes to listen to stuff on car rides. She likes them okay. Which is pretty good you know. I ordered Cinema Strange's other 2 cds for my good grades.
