I needed new watercolor paper so me and my mom went to Micheals. I got the paper, some Bristol paper to use with colored pencils. I also got a set of 24 oil pastels for $5! They probably aren't the best quality but I've never used them before. And a garland of ivy to put on my window. I've decided to go for a sort of naturey decor because that fits with my faeries. I need to keep thinking up excuses to get a new comforter though. I want a jewel toned one. Like purple or red or something shiny. Mine is green and shiny so I call it my princess bed.
We also went to Barnes&Noble. I wanted to get more of the fairytale books but they didn't have any :( So I got the first Last Apprentice book and Poison, I've read them both before but I like to own copies of the books I really like. I also got a hardcover book that was like $20 based on Elizabeth Bathory. It looks really good. And Twilight is *finally* a paperback so I'll be able to get it sometime. I was really tempted to get the second Vampire Kisses book lol, as horrible and goth/vampire cliched that the first one was, it was easy and held my attention.
And I think the book about Elizabeth Bathory was was a few dollars more than most hard cover books because all the pages are printed to look like they have been dipped in blood. It's a nice effect for a book about evil countesses who bathe in blood.
