I was walking back from the library and I found the most amazing thing. A dead monarch butterfly. It's sad that it's dead but it's perfect. I mean, like it wasn't squished or broken. Just like it had been flying and then dropped. The wings are closed, but I want to try to open them so I can see the back of them because that's so pretty. I might paint it. I was thinking about what to paint and I think I have to paint it now!
In other news...Chinka (Kachina) is actually awake and running about (like on my desk). And I loveeee "This Corrosion" by The Sisters of Mercy. Such a good song!
