Back. . . and gone. . . and back. . .
Back from the wilds of New Mexico as of Friday afternoon, but slept through much of Saturday, lounged around on Sunday, and was ill with some horrible stomach thing yesterday (this is what happens when you get back to civilization after a month, I guess). Field work was lovely and exhausting -- it's much more work to be in more of a supervisory position. All the students were great and it really is a lovely spot to work.
And now I'm leaving again in the wee small hours of tomorrow morning to do some work in Santa Fe. And then back for another two day stretch, and then gone again on vacation with the folks. It makes me tired just thinking about it. Yes indeedy, it's an adventurous life I lead.
