This is good, since, when I emailed the technical people about it, they told me to just change my password (which I refuse to do, since they have really annoying system for vetting passwords that makes it difficult to come up with one that they'll let stand for more than 6 months).
Hehehehe, silliness aside, it's probably a good idea to go ahead and change your password before it becomes whatever day the system thinks is December 31, 1969. You'll have to jump through their new password hoops, but at least you won't be locked out of the system when the imaginary deadline passes.
He brings up a good point. While December 31, 1969 will never come again, the computer may be living in the past, or delusional, and may arbitrarily assign a day to be December 31, 1969.
And of course, you have no way of knowing what day the computer will choose ;-)
