She said "That's a bad idea." He said "I know."

From one cigarette to the next and on to another.
Deeper down, and lower into the.
Black stars against a static white sky.
Memories of places, and things that never existed.
Reaching into yourself, searching for your heart.
Just alot of rattling bones.
Stop,Go,Stop.No.
It's 3AM at 6:00 o'clock.
Haunted like you can't put your arms around a memory.
Keep trying.
Reaching out to ghosts on these cold Chicago streets.
Concrete and steel, artifical existence.
Digital essence dissolves.
Force fed bliss, razors in the chocolate.
Look, no more wooden limbs.
A living voo-doo doll,
Or a work in progress.

His chest aches from the slow drum rhythem, he drinks the water as if it where whiskey. Comforted by knowing that it soon would be. Another cigarette, wasted time. Tell yourself
It could of been better spent. You could care less, and the end of the world is just around the corner. So you lay in bed, lie your way through the day. But you get through and your ok. Laugh, it's funny. It might of been, but I lost my sense of humor back on the road to. Stop while your ahead, fall back. Retreat.

Press on and hold your breath. Close your eyes tightly the mirror shatters beneath your fist. Reflections of memories painted in your own haunted eyes. Something tenses between your shoulders, and all at once. It shocks through your veigns and down your spine. Tears your stomache and collapses your heart. Breath, strain to breath, reach. Your fingers come off at the knuckle, the knuckle, the wrist, elbow. And than there's nothing left.

Keep feeding yourself the pills to make the hours pass quicker. The minutes pass slowly, the moment sustains. The world exists artificially, florescent fed tan. Happy, and aren't you Happy, fronting this equisite play. Dance macabre, puppet on strings set on fire to warm the bitter air. Sacrifice to. Dark eyed angels sit watching the crimson dawn, beyond sleepless nights. Confined in those lonly nowhere hours, between time.

"At the shore I stood and watched the storms coming.
And knew nothing could ever be the same again."
