Ten weirdly colorful characters careen south on a dark ride to find That Which Is Missing As Foretold in The Book of the Yellow Ancestor. Coincidence? They converge at an oculists' convention near Mexico City and all becomes blindingly clear in a titillating blur of Charlotte Russes, red and green Jello, strategic war moves, animated assassins, deep sea fish, UFOs, trains, history unfolding and folding back in on itself, lessons in taxidermy, and a big fat diamond shrouded in catastrophic mystery. Travel south with us at bullet speed and make your own truth as you do the Jello Dance at the Hacienda Ramon.

A strange, phantasmagoric tale with stories within stories within stories, involving characters who at first seem to bear no relation to each other. “The trip itself, like a spooky show in a carnival tunnel, is full of bright, surprising images, scary and funny.” - The Village Voice.
