leanasidhe, since you like to read and Ireland: "Three Bags Full" might be something for you. It's from a young German author and I'm in the middle of it and enjoy it a lot.

can you tell me who the author is? i tried to look it up and got some children's book about sheep.

It is sort of a children's book, but only sort. But then again, so is Harry Potter :-)
The author is Leonie Swann. I'm almost at the end of it and still like it. Well, after plenty of sheep in Edinburgh...
