Last night Anthony and I were watching TV, and every commercial that came on had to do with mother's day.
Him: Mummy, what do you want for Mother's day?
Me: Some flowers would be nice. Tell Daddy I want flowers.
Him: OK
*Carvel commercial comes on with ice cream cakes*
Him: Mum, we should get an ice cream cake for Mother's Day!
Me: Well, that's a nice idea, but I'm on a diet.
Him: Diet?
Me: Yeah, I'm just eating healthy food so I don't get fat.
Him: ....... (thinking)...... I know, you should just stay fat for a little more, and we can get the cake!
My son is awesome. I also tried to explain to him that some eggs are special and turn into chicks, but some eggs are meant for eating. He thought for a few seconds, then yelled "That's rude!"
