i have lots of [somewhat] deep [vaguely] dark thoughts, and i don't think they serve to make my journal any more exciting. in fact, yours is definitely a more thrilling read.

That would be fun, as Joshes are generally cool. Similarly, if you were to visit Ottawa on the evening of the 21st, you could see me performing at coffeehouse and Merideth opening for Ember Swift simutaneously!
oh my goodness. meredith luce was on vinyl café. and i wanted to scream "I KNOW THAT GIRL!", but then i realised i didn't. i just wish i did. her opening for miss swift would pretty much be the haatest thing ever, especially if i could see you play too. hmm. i shall definitely have to try to be there.
incedentally, how do you feel about going to see charles' play either tomorrow or saturday night? [there is no show on the ninth...which is unfortunate, because he invited us to the cast party, but i have to be watching people get awarded at the time.]
i think there's officially a plot in place for you to meet josh. it's funny that you say that about joshes, though, as i was just having a conversation with josh the other day in which i pretty much said that all the other joshes i know are sort of not very excellent, which is sad because it's a pretty loverly name.

It's not especially important that you see me at cofeehouse, as I generally just sing backup vocals for matty and play piano with him. But if you went to see Meredith and Embah, I could probably escape cofeehouse before it's over. Meredith is also playing at Rasputin's sometime soon.

It is a nice name. My joshes tend to be both quirky and excessively cute. one of them I had a really weird bus trip with once 'cause I was scared of akward silences so I just kept talking and talking. In other words, yes I should meet your Josh some day.
and see, josh also avoids awkward silences by simply continuing to talk. actually, i was trying to explain how the two of you were similar to him today, but people were playing video games, so i was too distracted and it was basically reduced to "well, you both like boys and ice cream and musicals. right?" but really, i think it has more to do with the general sorts of things i say/do in the company of both of you respectively. for example, i have had many conversations with you which were half-lost and confusing because we were listening to live music at the time. and lots of conversations with josh are like that too, because he has hearing problems and i get distracted by shiny objects. also, with both of you i tend to find myself in the middle of very lewd conversations without having any clue how i got there, and then i giggle. also, you are both somewhat shorter than me. wait, are you even shorter than me anymore? i don't know. anyhow. it seems like putting the two of you in a room together would be some kind of
