Ralph and Ed ;-) You so silly!! I don't think I have to tell you that I agree with your review and that I thought this ep was fun, light, and yet informative. Wait...I just told you. Oh well. My fav ep this season behind 8x01 :)
Thanks for putting the ep into words and yeah what WAS with the lighting? Well Hugh and RSL looked good no matter what the lighting so, ok then.
I thought Wilson's "no" was to the offer of a martini. House held his up and did the head movement "do you want one" look.
I didn't think any geography of Wilson's office changed. I am big on consistency with real estate and while the show sometimes makes mistakes, Wilson's office was where it should have been from my perspective. Did you see something different?
I watched again, and saw that Wilson's office is where it's always been. That kind of inconsistency bugs me, too.
Also, I decided that Wilson was in on the garage door and it was a prank for the team, as well as a nice metaphor. Could be just the martini, too.
There was at one point a paragraph where I started counting the retreads--the one that had another "and scene" in it. Later, I just discounted them in preference for liking this epi. I could be wrong, but we'll see.
I didn't see any toaster, so maybe it really was too dark :). I liked many of the speeches, except those I didn't understand. Next time I'll go for the Canadian version with French subtitles :). A good episode altogether. I wonder how much Martini e Rossi paid for the egregious product placement.
The toaster was just one of the many things House was frantically collecting to make his place feel like home again. I wonder how he made out on the cable--until he steals a flatscreen, we won't know. Funny stuff to me.
They usually don't do product placement. Good catch.
Don't know about you. In the US, shows must have CC to air over networks. It's possible to just open the captions on the TV--you might want to check yours.
