One hail storm, broken down car, 5.5 hour drive home, twenty consecutive hours of sleep later...i'm home and well rested! hoorah!
newport is good so far, relaxing as hell...the tree is sitting in the living room undecorated with tree 'limbs' (?) lying everywhere in TRUE perrotti fashion. we'll get around to it before christmas hopefully.
had an amazing trip to target (tarjaittt) where i bought SO MUCH AMAZING STUFF FOR CHEAPCHEAPCHEAP! on the list: black gloves with gold sparkles with matching pom pom (!) hat, and amazing tacky necklace with a huge L. for leah, if you were wondering.
ive heard from emily goldsher (yes she's still alive). she's with her CRAZZY family south of the border (ay ay ay ay!!!!) we leave each other messages nightly. last night her message went something like this:
Leah: leave a message!!
Emily: Hi leah. So thus far on my family vacation ive realized all the reasons i didnt go last year. everyone is TAN...THIN...and allt he white people are jewish. I'm losing my mind. remember how we said over break you were only going to drink alcohal and eat salads and i as only going to drink alcohal and eat fish? well ive got the alcohal part down (is obviously drunk)...however...im not surehow much more fishi can eat. the americans here hate me. im drunk and reading. i love you. bye.

tonight jen and i are going on a road trip (WAHOOOOO!) to visit elana at brandeis for a night. she doesnt get home till friday.
