(no subject)
Everyone is discussing the Virginia Tech. tragedy. I will leave my thoughts to myself at the time being about it all. My sympathies and prayers go out to those who lost their lives and to the families, but that should go without saying. Of course UCCS security is up. Dorms are going to have "extra" security oh and UCCS has it's own police force from what they say on the UCCS website, who would have thought. Of course, even after going there 4 years I only hear about it after tragedy strikes. But anyway, enough on that.
John and I finally had a day on Sunday. Between work and school for me and just work for John, Sunday is the one day that neither of us have work or school (although I have homework). But for the last couple months we've always had friends over on a Sunday. So finally we set some time aside just for us. We went to lunch. Went to Barnes and Noble and Target. Went to see TMNT (which besides bringing back childhood memories had a much stronger storyline than I had expected). Spent the rest of the night playing video games, watching Family Guy and Scrubs. It was nice and enjoyable and well needed. Even though we live together, the time we SPEND together is a completely different thing.
Time to read then sleep.
