B) Making coffee in the coffee maker.
I was told this morning that I am to keep my coffee out of the coffee maker for it contaminates my mother's tea. My mother then offered to buy me little instant coffee bags if I wish to have coffee in the morning so that this is no longer an issue.
Apparently, the coffee maker is not for making coffee, but for making hot water. Somehow, the microwave (which is faster) is not suitable for heating water for tea anymore. Neither is the tea kettle. It would seem that in my mother's world, that's Mr. Coffee's job (he's friends with Mr. Clean, sanitizer of lampshades).
