Tayler just came into town today. She'll be here until Sunday. I wish I would have known she was coming before because now I will be busy all week. Well, almost all week. Tomorrow I am going to be in Pembroke all day for a Young Women In Harmony music school and subsequent performance. It's a full day commitment and I am tired just thinking about it. I hope it goes by quickly and that it is fun.

Saturday I am working the gate at The Weekend Off festival, which is George's latest promotion. It's in Warsaw, but I'll be with my mom and maybe Billy, so I won't be all alone. I just hope it is not overwhelming. I'll be there by noon on Saturday and won't get home until late.

We were in Vermont visiting Zack and Meaghan for a few days this past weekend. It was great fun. There was no cell phone reception, I saw a moose, and they live in a little tiny house in the middle of the woods. We went to a local waterfall that was absolutely beautiful. Dave and Zack were jumping into the deep water "pits" at the base of the different levels of waterfall. They said it was really cold, but they had a blast. The hike to the falls was a little tough on me because I was wearing platform flipflops. I didn't know we would be hiking, otherwise I would have worn my hiking shoes that I brought specifically for such things.

I was at the beach the first week of August. Monday - Friday I drove back to Buff State every day for the last week of EDU 647. It is over now. The drive wasn't horrible because I had a nice audiobook to listen to and I was on the road early enough that there wasn't a lot of traffic. The Peace Bridge was not bad at any point. The class was beneficial to me. The hours were not beneficial to me. One more class to go, then I am the MASTER!

The beach was lovely. I hope to have a full, uninterrupted beach vacation next summer.

My thoughts are full of next school year right now. Also, Mariah and Barry are having the baby probably on Sunday, so that's pretty exciting.
