End of the first week...
and first fuck-up of the academic year. Basically not starting homework til late, passing out until morning, speeding through the work, throwing up my hands, and handing in the sheet with a fraction of the questions answered. Good job, me. Get thine ass back in gear.
So, yeah. Started my senior year with Japanese (translating), Intro to World Music, and two film classes over at UMass: History of Film and Animation Fundamentals. The latter is still in limbo, but the chances of getting in are increasing AFAIK. I'm decently optimistic that this won't end up turning me into the insane wreck of last Fall, but... it lurks in the back of the mind. I've also been poking at internship info and running away asking around about campus jobs, but those without work study aren't even considered until October. At least I have friends putting in words for me <3 Should check out the CDO though.
(Apparently I missed the class meeting with them this evening? GFDI)

For those of you new to my journal, Welcome!I love you all! I should probably warn that I don't write in it often enough, so when I do post, they're fairly massive things where I ramble about all the topics I've been meaning to; this can probably cause some whiplash. I apologize in advance.
Oh that note, bitter_nakano exchange. THANK YOU soleil_et_pluie! Infected is awesome, and so much more than I expected! *hug* Guys, check out her stuff, it's lovely!

Okay, not other hand. It turned out pretty well. I wrote Teammates for ivory_and_horn. ^_^;
I will give this its own post some time soon, after I've cleaned up the fic and posted to ff.net. (I'll have to put the miles and miles of author's notes somewhere, right?)

Hmm. Other news. Gaming is awesome! 8D
I'm part of the Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Geekery club on campus, and a good chunk of us are involved in LARPs and tabletop games. Deadlands LARP is starting its 7th season I think, along with Changeling: the Lost, and two new games are on the roster: Vampire: the Masquerade and Dark Heresy.
I think I will be writing about the games here more often - I'm obligated to do some background-building for my new Vampire boy, at least. (His concept took all of an hour, I finished statting him tonight; game doesn't start for another week or two. I feel teased.)(Incidentally, he's the second character I have based on one from another series. Take a guess >_<; Hint: Running Up That Hill). Or maybe I could do a roster of my characters thus far. That might be good just for me to sort out. Hmm.
