First of all....Anna Maria you are a Goddess!! Thank you for working your magic and making my journal so "pimp" ...and I'm using that phrase jokingly people! lol
I know I haven't written in this thing for awhile but I figure now that it's all fixed up I will again. We'll see.
Anyways, these past few weeks have been pretty nuts. I think pretty much everyone I know can agree with that. Everyone is handling the leaving for college thing differently (well everyone who is going or knows people that are) and that's ok. I for one am not ashamed to say that I've gotten pretty emotional about it. I know this isn't the end and that I will see my friends again..but it won't be as easy and it won't be the same. Not that I'm complaining..to be honest, some of these "lasts" we've had lately have been some of the greatest times I've had in a long time. Alanna, Lisa, Jaclyn and I went to Taco Bell today. If you know us you know we're big time Taco Bell fans. I swear we all laughed so hard while we were there we were almost in tears..just about stupid things, and it was so much fun! Realizing how much I'll miss my friends shows me how close I am to them and how lucky I am to have the friends I have.
Tomorrow is my last day to get my stuff packed and see everyone I want to see (and everyone I have time to see) before I leave on Wednesday. Luckily I started packing today so I won't have to do everything tomorrow. Smart thinkin' eh? Finally convinced my Dad to go to the store with me today. That was a good thing. I can be such a spaz about having everything I need... did I really need to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown because I didn't have a desk lamp?? Probably not, but all that stuff is taken care of now so I'm happy! Jaclyn, Lisa, and I went to 7-11 (just as important as the taco bell ritual) and hung out at Lisa's for awhile. She leaves for Grand Valley tomorrow. It's weird that we're going seperate ways, Jaclyn and I to State and Lisa to Grand Valley..especially since we've all been friends practically forever (well since kindergarten, so that's pretty much forever!!) What made it easier was knowing we'll always be friends..it's just a given with us. Who else could've survived that camping trip together?? LOL
Well I probably should get some sleep so I can get up at a decent hour tomorrow. Lots of shiz to do!
