Thanks you guys....the farting thing is always good for a laugh!
I will admit that in both cases, meeting the famous peeps was because of my mum. I met Donny when I was about 7 because my mum dragged us to the local Music shop to meet him...she used us as leverage to get in before everyone else as we were getting squashed amongst the screaming women outside the shop!! Did everyone over a certain age fancy the pants of Donny Osmond...i don't see it myself!?!?! I met Graham at a book signing last year as my mum couldn't make it and wanted her book signed by him as she thinks he's fabulous. He was very nice and only looked a little scared as I rambled on about my mums birthday and how it was going to be a surprise but I'd told her .....and on and on!
The cruise in a hurricane was more vomit-inducing than scary and we were lucky the boat was so huge as it didn't seem as horrible...less movement. The au pair job in France was horrible and I don't look back at it too fondly now either, the only consolation being that it improved my listening skills (hearing the French mother scream down the phone that I was a liar and that she was sending me on several trains to make my own way home was mental!!) and I got a B in my French A level :)
