Just dropping in to see what everyone is up to and leave my two cents for today. I'm feeling chirpy and relishing every moment of not feeling blah about the world. I don't really like the idea of New Years Resolutions but a few things I'm going to attempt this year are:
-to continue to work on the fab relationship with me wife (all going really well at the mo)
-get my bloody expensive camera back out of its hiding place and try to re-instate some creativity back into my life...I think I have washed the horrors of Art College out of my brain
-attempt to have a decent holiday that is secluded and doesn't involve the breakdown of my relationship (all major fights with gf have been on our only holidays together!!)
-expand my horizons in some way...might take a night class or try to get onto one of the special-effects/body/face-painting courses I want to do
-put together a body/ face painting portfolio..now I have my laminator I have no excuses
-get the niggling DIY jobs done in the house so we can concentrate on the bigger jobs
-generally see more of the important people in my life...it would be great to meet any of my lj friends but that might be pushing it in terms of distances involved (bar 1 or 2 peeps!)
On a completely different note...friends of ours in Austria just sent me some pics and this is my favourite of the lot...I have even replaced the divine Natasha K on my desktop with this pic as it's so beautiful (she will return I'm sure but this makes a really good desktop. They live between a lake and a mountain in an area called Horbranz. The lake borders Germany, Switzerland and Austria and it is a stunning place to visit. I have been twice as my home town of Bangor, Northern Ireland is twinned with Bregenz, Austria.
