update.
DAMNIT DAMNIT cardinals!! they are so bad right now they deserve two damnits! ok, so we are still doing better than everyone else in our crappy division, but still. BEATING THE CUBBIES WOULD BE NICE!!!!!!!!!!!
ok, anyway. the good news of the day is that we are pre-approved for a home loan!!!!!!!!!!! hooray!!!!!!! we knew we would be since we weren't asking for (relatively) a whole lot, but still. now we have the fun part--to shop for a house. :) cory's pretty open to anything--he so far just wants a 2-car garage. i think that's pretty funny because the garage is not a REALLY important part of the house to me. :) but ah well. we are going all over the place tomorrow--there's an open house we want to go to, plus the realtor-person i contacted today is going to show us some houses we saw online (7 of them to be exact!) honestly, i don't know what the heck is going to happen if we actually find one that we like--it would seem crazy to buy anything right away--but if we find something we like, shouldn't we snatch it up before someone else does?? i have no idea about that.
right now cory and i are just chillin' at home, splitting a bowl of sketti-o's. with everything that's happened this past week and all the house stuff going on, i am sure wiped out so i am very glad to just be sitting home tonight. earlier we went to go and see "accepted" the movie--which was AWESOME! then we came back here and cory's been playing video games, while i've been doing laundry, practicing piano, and getting on and off the computer for various things.
i am doing pretty good with piano. i've gotten into a lot harder material because my teacher says i am learning very fast. i will say this though: the ear training on the intervals is KILLING me. i have been told many MANY times that i have a pretty good ear, so by all means i really just don't think this ear training should be giving me this much trouble!! i only average about 50%, so i am very disappointed. i guess i will just have to try harder. i finally finished my first training book today though--it was pretty tiny and easy, so i had no trouble. my next book is bigger and more complicated, so i will be using it for a long time.
school starts thursday. i am not at all excited about it--i know it will be pretty much a waste of my time. once you have been in child care awhile, there's really not too much else you can learn from an intro to early childhood class!
anyway, i think i am going to go watch a movie and go to bed. everyone have a great rest of the weekend!
