Reflections
**Monday will mark the end of my 30th year in this world, and I've been doing a little reflecting on my life. Years ago, I set in my mind what I wanted to accomplish by the time I was 30, and looking back, I have pretty much met those goals. They didn't exactly happen in the manner or order I had anticipated, but that doesn't matter. What matters is this, I have become the person I wanted to be. In my book, that's definitely a major achievement!
**Tim took me shopping last night to pick out a watch for my birthday. He helped me find a beautiful silver tone Casio with a burgundy face and diamond accents. Very pretty (and inexpensive for him...A++++). I love it!!!!
**Tonight we are heading to the movies to check out The Village. I'm not a big fan of fear-inducing flicks, but I still want to see it. Besides, I can always snuggle up to Tim if I get too scared...hehe.
**Saturday evening we are taking a boat ride on the Augusta Canal. I'm looking forward to relaxing on the boat as we coast along the canal watching the sun set over the water. Wow, now I'm looking forward to it even more...sounds fabulous!!!!
Note--for the trivia bunch, I have listened to Paul Simon's Slip Slidin' Away many times, and have yet to hear any Oak Ridge Boys (or whoever Mike said it was) singing back up. I'm curious which version he has?!?!?!
