ACL this weekend..unless there's a hurricane
So excited about this weekend (fuck the hurricane!)
I'm going to end up having a lot of work done before i leave so i won't have to worry about getting behind, so i can enjoy the weekend!! No studying!!
Anyway hopefully the hurricane will change course but it's predicted to be in houston right around friday night...which is exactly when i'm supposed to switch planes (in houston) to go to austin. But i figure the worse that will happen is that it will get rerouted either to dallas or austin. Either of those is fine w/me b/c if end up in dallas i'll grab my car (yes i have 2: 1 in TX (the montero that i've had since i was 16 & 1 here(my dad's new accord)) and drive down to austin. And if we reroute to austin then that's even better. I pray that the flight doesn't get cancelled. I'll be so pissed! Everyone's going to be in Austin! Jackie, Linds, Maria, Spencer & everyone who's still there!! I don't care if there's tornado's & storms! I just want to hang out with everyone & party! I don't even care if ACL is cancelled (although that's really going to be sad) as long as i make to austin & see all my friends :)
I talked to john, val, spencer, & kristy. All of their families are getting out of clearlake around thurs night & fri morning. I hope everyone's ok. I'm not sure what everyone else's family's are doing, but i'm assuming they leave...i hope.
Yesterday was nice. I went to dinner at Victoria's place. Her sister is an amazing cook! she made salmon, asparagus, potatoes, salad, & 2 cheesecakes!! My favorite everything! They have a condo in Belltown & there's a huge rooftop terrace w/ grills & all you can see for miles is the water! It's gorgeous & I wish i'd had my camera. Anyway i got to met a lot of her friends & they were all really nice. I enjoyed myself.
School's going ok. Still understanding...boo finals (& they're 3 mo's away). I can't believe we've been in school for a month...i keep repeating this to myself *don't fail out* gah.
