I booked my flight for Christmas! Kind of disturbing how early students need to book their flights in order not to get screwed over price-wise... considering it's only October. It cost over a thousand bucks for two people and two cats! Stupid airlines. But I digress...
Went to trivia again last night, and we were kind of worried we weren't going to do very well because the usual main players (Alex, Malloy, Chris, etc) decided to bail out at the last minute. But a lot of the questions were super easy this time (ie who came up with UN peacekeepers? and where were they first deployed? Who did Bill Clinton defeat in the 1996 election?) The majority of us are Arts majors, so those questions were really easy. Needless to say, when they called out third place, then second place and our team name hadn't been called, we figured we didn't place... but noooooo we got first place: 3 buckets of beer between 5 people. Mark ended up taking the bucket and four beers out the back door cause he wanted the bucket...
