Aw...Monday, you snuck up on my too soon!! Had a very busy weekend. On Saturday, I ran around scouting out a present for Carol's Retirement and Jen's Birthday. I got Carol some knitting supplies to keep her busy in her retirement and a nice cook book from gooseberry patch for Jen. Then, Tom and I ran to the mall to stock up on our hand soap...Yes we are handsoap snobs. Has to smell good, OK!!?? At 5, we met everyone at the Texas Roadhouse. MMM. There were 18 of us. Insane. Carol was quite spoiled with her many presents. She says it was so much fun, that she is going to retire again in May. Ha Ha!! Yesterday, Tom and I did grocery shopping in the AM. Then in the afternoon we went to spend my JC Penney gift card. I ended up getting a new jewelry box. My sister's jewelry was outgrowing my little jewelry by leaps and bounds. (Especially since she gives me jewelry for every occasion) I had it scattered everywhere...including on doorknobs, etc.. After setting up my new jewelry box...which is huge, I must say. (Must find somewhere else to put it since it dwarfs my vanity table) After, I was done, I decided to tackle a portion of my closet. I got a ton of stuff ready to go to the DI. Must make a trip soon!! I can't believe what a pack rat I am. I was saving containers, etc. I do not understand myself sometimes. Anywho, I'm not quite done yet..but at least part of it is done. Must go...duty calls. Joy!!
