Weekend :)
I don't feel like I accomplished much this weekend: Costco, watching Brandon play hockey, going to Salmon Kings game Friday, cleaning house, making meals, drinks with friends - waitaminute that does seem like alot! So cute, Brandon made home-made poutine today, it was SOOO yummy! I should have taken a picture of it but I was too engrossed in engulfing myself into the wonderful depths of mozza cheese, fresh cut fries, and hot gravy :)
Last weekend we went to Vancouver to see the Sharks vs Nucks game, and since neither of us are really Nucks fans we thought the Sharks would prevail. Of course, they lost but at least most of the game was exciting to watch. We stayed at the Sandman on Georgia, definitely a low-quality party place for groups of men to stay hahah! But hey, for one night who cares? :)
I'm so excited, we're off to Vegas in 3 weeks! This time we're checking out Ceasars, but we have an action-packed weekend we've booked tickets to see Elton John's Red Piano, and Jersey Boys too! So awesome, Fernando and Alice are coming too so we should be able to hang out for a meal and some drinks, they have planned different stuff.
And, even more exciting - it looks like we may be going on a Mediterrean cruise in September! A 12-day cruise from Rome, ending off in Venice. We'll stop in parts of Italy, France, Greece and Turkey - this would be the BEST vacation ever I really hope we can go!
And again, another year of many weddings - this year I'm going to Sean & Yvonne, Linda & Jon, Cornelia & Gabe, and I can't remember who else right now. A few other couples I know are newly engaged, so either this year or 2010 will be their date of bliss :) I hope my own day of bliss comes soon too =)
Quiet island life is great, I'm really adjusting well - better than I thought and I'm so happy :) I love goofing around with my baby, waking up next to him, teasing each other, taking care of each other, planning for the future together :) It warms my heart to just be with him!
