The year is 9 days old, and it's been crazy. I don't know how to look at it...I mean, am I front-loading all the drama? Getting it all out of the way early? Or is this merely a taste of things to come?

Cam: he's having a Bell's Palsy episode. The left side of his face has fallen and is very droopy. Days of drama with various doctor's offices and pharmacies have resulted in him finally being on a large dose of steroids. He's eating us out of house and home.
All State band: I didn't go. I stayed home to deal with the doctors and pharmacies for Cam.
Student teaching: Drama. So. Much. Drama. There have been issues, but nothing bad. Just annoying. I spent Wednesday-Friday at Workman (the heat was out, by the way....55 degrees in the cafeteria) and will report to Washington High on Monday. I really hope things level out then.
I'm tired, y'all. Tired, but finally warm. I'm wearing long johns, jeans, 2 pair of socks, a turtle neck, and a big, comfy sweatshirt. I'm also in charge of keeping the fire going today. Relaxing today, then tomorrow we shop and I get back on the piano wagon. Gonna spend some quality time at my MIL's on her Roland and get those minor scales to a very respectable level. But today? This is about it. Aaahh...
