True Blood
Friday night I finished watching the first season of True Blood, and I have to say that I really love it. It was really different than I thought it would be; I expected the show to be more plot driven but it's actually very, very character-driven. I LOVE almost all the characters. But there are some that I kind of dislike. And the thing about the character on True Blood, as in real life, is that you can love them without neccassarily liking them that much. One example that stands out is that I love Sam even though he acts in lame and pigheaded ways out of very obvious jealousy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tara as well; she is easily my favorite character on the show; I just feel so protective of her. But again, the ways she acts because she's unable (or unwilling) to deal with her own emotions are very frustrating to me. True Blood is one of those shows where the episodes fly by; I am a clock watcher by nature, but with this show I just randomly glance at the time of my DVR player and it's like "WTF how is it almost over??" There is also one other character I really love, and I'm sad because they appear to have died in the last scene of the season finale. :( I'll be buying season two on payday, so here's hoping I'm wrong! Anyway, if you haven't watched True Blood, watch it! That is all.
