[Coyolxauhqui is a little winded from fighting with that crocodile, but she's in high spirits as she roams.

Then she spots the giant deer and stops dead in her tracks. She's never seen anything like it.]

[Coyoxauhqui is in awe. Awe. She looks the animal up and down, jumping a little when it nudges her.]

What are you? [She blinks and reaches out to touch the top of its head.]

[She really doesn't expect an answer she can understand, and stops herself from flinching when it makes a noise. It's so new to her.

Coyolxauhqui doesn't want to butcher this animal. Not at the moment anyway, she's exhausted. Instead she places her hand on its head and sighs.] You look too quick to hunt.

[She pauses in thought, not quite understanding what this creature wanted at first. She makes a face as she slowly comes to realize - Coyolxauhqui's never ridden on an animal before...ever.

But she's willing to try. She places a hand on the beast's neck and stares into its eyes.] Throw me off and I will strangle you, understand?

[Reassured, Coyolxauhqui swings her leg over the animal's back and finds a way to balance herself by putting her hands on its mane. She waits for it to move with baited breath.]

You....are the largest deer I have ever seen.

[As the animal moves, Coyolxauhqui is staring straight ahead and pretending not to be scared. She's not. Nope. No way.

Alright, she is a little. She holds on tight and is pretty much about ready to hop off again.]

[Coyolxauhqui isn't the kind of goddess to admit when she's terrified, but she does hold on tighter when the animal speeds up. She makes a quiet yelp and squeezes her eyes shut.]

[Finally, she gives in and yells just a little louder. A few choice curses and the like, and especially when the animal gallops and turns about.

Eventually, Coyolxauhqui begins to see that she isn't about to be thrown off, so she allows herself a little thrilled whoop or two.
