[Coyolxauhqui sounds like she's spitting something out. She coughs away from the communicator for a minute, then takes a deep breath.]

Rivers of blood. [Another cough.] Mountains that crash together. Wind that cuts like knives. Jaguars that devour the hearts of men. Dog-men and weary souls.

And Mictlantecuhtli.

[Persephone looks well rested, having just woken from a coma of her own. She definitely looks pleased to see her.]

I have missed you as well, Coyolxauhqui!

[The goddess laughs again...and it's as close to a giggle that Coyolxauhqui can manage.]

I told Mictlantecuhtli about you! He disapproves of your husband, Persephone. Mictlantecuhtli can be fearsome, but he is very loyal to his wife and thinks kidnapping should be left to gods like Tezcatlipoca.

Is Mictlantecuhtli the Lord of the Underworld, as well?

What is Tezcatlipoca the god of?

Yes, he is. It is his name. Mictlantecuhtli - the Lord of Mictlan.

Tezcatlipoca is the Lord of the Smoking Mirror. He is the God of many things. War, chaos, kings, the night sky, sorcery, and beauty.

Funny how their names are both involved in a place, Mictlantecuhtli - the Lord of Mictlan, Hades- Lord of Hades.

Kidnapping does seem like it should be his realm.

When shall I see you?

He kidnapped his wife from Tlaloc, because Tlaloc had the most beautiful wife of all the gods. Tezcatlipoca coveted beauty and wanted her for himself.

You can see me when you'd like, Persephone. I will always be happy to see you.
