[Coyolxauhqui's propped up the camera on a pile of cloth, giving the Barge a nice shot of the center of her cabin. The divinity is sat on the floor by the small pool of water, looking like her old self, save for the fact that her earlobes look like they've been not-so-neatly sliced in half with a pointy rock.
She sets an empty bowl into the water and watches it float away, then begins trying to flick beads into the slowly-moving target. The divinity looks at peace as she plays her little game, though every time a bead misses the bowl and lands in the water, a small look of rage crosses her face. She speaks without looking at the camera:]
It was a failure. Too many things went wrong. Too much resistance. I admired the fight; I respected your fight, but my brothers should have crushed you all. My brothers were weak. I lost control; I lost my power. It was a failure.
[A happy sigh.] But it was a marvelous failure. For a few days, this afterlife was mine. Your spirits were mine. Each heart was branded; each soul was marked. I could do as I wished.
And I greatly enjoyed your struggle. I reveled in it. You were all worthy tributes.
[There's a small pinging sound as Coyolxauhqui finally aims a shot into the bowl. She grins in triumph and finally turns to acknowledge the camera:] And all without my powers. All without my magic. I was mortal. I am mortal. I was given one thing - the chance to speak. It was all I needed.
It was all I ever needed.
[The goddess is bored now. She drops the beads and reaches to shut off the camera, sly grin still plastered on her face.]
((ooc: Just a quick head's up because I forgot before whoops - Coyolxauhqui's replies may be marked private, but they can be read. She's been kinda banned from making them. whaaamp whaaamp.))
