I've been looking for good ways to exercise in preparation for guide dog training. I found
this, but I only had enough downloads left for the first two miles. I'll get the rest later. I like it because it's designed so you can walk to the beat of the music and theoretically cover three miles in around 45 minutes.
Also, I caved. I made a separate training blog:
http://angiesnewguide.greatestjournal.com. I put it on GJ because I'm terribly lasy, and that way, I don't have to log in or log out or anything. Plus, I can send the URL to all kinds of people, and it won't be linked to this LJ. If you read this regularly, you probably won't need to check the other. I imagine the content of that journal will be a subset of what gets posted here--possibly with more background info, but possibly not, since making two separate entries would require more work. But, you know, feel free to read it, or to friend me if you're on GJ.
Finals are going to be so horrible this semester. I'm staying here and having "Thanksgiving" with J, except we're having liverwurst instead of turkey, and we're having it on Wednesday so I can study more. My sister is going to Mom and Dad's, and I can't get away to go see her. I haven't met the last three kids she's adopted. But, you know, it'll all be worth it when I pull off a semester's worth of solidly mediocre grades. That really is the best that can be hoped for at this point.
Also, I'm such a nerd...I got Masters of the Universe from Netflix. ("Knowing is half the battle!" (Oh, wait, wrong '80s toy-motivated series.))
