6. What is the significance/meaning/derivation of your username?: shineaurorarose? Ha, well, it means a bunch of things to me.
A) I love the name…
B) Aurora is my favorite Disney Princess (yay Disney)
C) I have this novel that I’ve been writing since well….8th grade (I think I’m on massive rewrite number three and the main character’s name is Aurora Rose (well, it’s a little more complicated than that)
7. What is your favorite historical era, and why? Hmm…that’s a toughie…Def. in England during the early 19th century...because as superficial as it sounds, I love the clothes! Ha But, having read so many books based in that time period, I like how there’s a sense of honor and manners that just doesn’t exist much these days.
8. What historical, mythological, or legendary character do you most identify with, and why? It’s a tossup between Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz or Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice. I have the dreamy attitude of Dorothy but the rest of me is Lizzy! I have the independent streak, thankfully.
9. Favorite three books (exclude any based on musicals or that musicals are based on): Dang, my favorite book is actually Wicked (I read it before the musical was made) but otherwise……..Time Traveler’s Wife, Harry Potter, and The Golden Compass
10. Favorite three movies (exclude any based on musicals or that musicals are based on): Pride and Prejudice (2005), Say Anything, uh…geez, The Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie but it hasn’t been made into a musical (technically….. ), But to offer up another, how about Roman Holiday.
11. Do you have any creative talents?: I write….a lot. I can sing decently…and I am a photographer….
