So they hired this new prof that is an amazing dancer with many many dreams and last night she held the first ever meeting/practice for the LSSU Dance Company! She is working towards establishing a dance minor by fall 2008 and by starting the company it will allow her to show the school of arts there are dancers at lake state. Its really cool because there is a good chance i will be receiving credits for doing company so there are no dues and ill credit towards my the minor if I have time to go for it. Also, one of the dancers works for the academy of dance but is moving to GR next year and asked me to come and check out the classes because she wants me to take over some of the classes for her when she moves. I do that on tuesday and thursday and then on friday, she is taking me and bri to the canada side where the studio she dances at is and we are trying out what is said to be an awesome hip hop class. Man, if all this stuff really does happen, then coming up here might have the best choice ive ever made!
