feeling a little older
So it's my birthday on Monday. I'm feeling my age lately. I just can't seem to connect with people that are 21 anymore. I know it's only a 8 year difference but it's enough to where I just feel like we have nothing in common. (yes that means I'm turning 29)I hate birthdays they are really so disappointing when you get older. Not like when you were five, no presents,no fun themed toys and paper plates,and I'm lucky if my parents even remember to call me. Although my parents both sent me something early this year cuz they know they are old and forgetful.How sad is that?! We don't have much money in the account to spend on taking my anywhere for my birthday like dinner or anything but maybe my friends here will at least get me drunk this weekend. Yes Leah numb the pain like a good little girl. Ahh my sad pathetic existence. well at least it's the one night of the year I'm guaranteed to get laid.silver linings all around yay.
