experiment
I am trying something different this year.
Last year the guys collected all their candy and I gave it to them piece by piece. Somehow, my feelings this year are leading me to let them eat all their candy and get sick and learn where their boundries are without me. I hope for success.
Already tonight I let them eat what they wanted. There was no crying, they fell right asleep. I figure the candy willl last for 2 days and then it will be over, rather than it dragging out for weeks. I just want to see the outcome. If it idoesn't work, then next year I will revert back to being the bank. I figure I have years left to finding the art, so I experiment. I do have rules though.
1. They have to have a wipe by them to clean their fingers.
2. No wrappers on the ground, in the garbage only, if I find wrappers, all the candy is taken away.
3. They have to keep brushing their teeth!!!!!
Tomorrow will be the true test.
