my mind seems to have a long ill tempered history
thats sneaks and twists a million miles
into a dawn of mankind, as i know it,
and time seems already to be much too long.
for i remember when my eyes were curious
with an encompassing glint
that caught the shine of your eyes
and was kept blind in the light of day.

not a time of man,
for man was beast,
a time of a newborn animal,
instincts sharpened like claws.

so among the eternal questions
is always how much more to take
how long to carry and walk with
heavy hearts and heavy heads.
(often felt like wounded warrior
treading amongst the ashes of past histories
in a battle he never wished but for the same reason-
would never let rest.)

these eyes - they change ! they change ! they never stay the same
these eyes - they change ! they change ! but never lost the flame.

its time i laid down my sword.

what happens next i care not
but these bloody trails i cease to walk
and lay to rest this beast of burden
that has walked with me so long.

ah hell ive loved it here.
that piece is just for something long long ago.
i will miss you all.
