Frankie & Friends pre-production day 2
me, the costume team, and art crew shot photos for the mock t-shirts, flyers, movie posters, & other miscellaneous props for the movie. a lot of photos were taken, most of the members of our "fake bands" and "fake movies" are members of the crew. i'm using this movie to live out several lifelong dreams i've had. this one includes me wishing i was a rock photographer in the 70s and 80s. shooting these "fake bands" is probably the closest i'll ever get to shooting bands in this improvised haphazard way. and it was easy because so many members of my crew are photogenic and already think they're rockstars. but they are really rocking it (behind camera more than in front), i couldn't ask for a better group of people to calm my super stressed and super frustrated craziness. they're kicking ass and i'm sure with the addition of an equally bad as cast...this movie is going to...have really good crew and a really good cast...now if we could only solve the director and cinematographer problem. poo. (*i'm the director and cinematographer on the show...it's a joke...haha? no? ok.)
