After one week of use, the LAN card in my computer (apparently) died. High-speed home connection lost, which is why (in case you were wondering) I haven't been responding to e-mail.

(Dial-up is also unavailable, but for entirely different reasons that I won't get resolved until Tuesday).

Let's hear it for the local wifi cafe.
