At times, it is easily forgotten just how immensely the mind contradicts all other aspects of the human. Just as easily as this occurs, it is also as difficult to come to an understanding of what actual control it may contain over the person and all of their desicions. One may relate to the realization of what may be the mature misconception of what is right and what is wrong to what is beneficial for the future and what may be a road-blocker. Desire is quite the irrelevant factor, not towards self-actualization, but toward success and power. Power, obviously, is maintained also by learning to control desires and overcome one's weaknesses. BEING SELFISH IS PROFITABLE.
I'm sure there has been a point in life when everyone has admitted to detecting their indulgences. Whether positive or negative, legal or illegal, or even beneficial and/or harmful, they are always dangerous when abused or failed to be looked upon as hazardous when neglecting the limits (whoever said this has anything to do w/ substances, free your imagination). However, the funny thing is that it is always visioned as a threat after a bad or traumatic experience occurs following the satisfying leisures, whether it harmed the body, decreased the ego, underwent insecurity issues, lost friendships, crossed the borders, scarred the views of many, whatever it is you name it, I don't know what the situation may be. IT IS YOUR FAULT. No lie. Anything and EVERYTHING that happens is YOUR fault, beacuse YOU let it happen.
Feeling betrayed by yourself, the one who would never let such a thing happen to you, the easiest way back to gaining control is by re-setting limitations for yourself, tending to be the same borders that remained before, but now "you really mean it". HA HA HA. Fool. Of course this is what you really mean, or at least you convince yourself that so it becomes your undying sin just thinking about it as it reoccurs over and over again, each time another part of yourself is gaining insignificance. You are a Liar my friend.
Sure the mind is the strongest aspect, or so it seems according to so many critics/journalists/columnists that indulge on breaking down the human psyche. Of course admittance to a problem always helps, but even a moron can do that. And sure, creating solutions and acknowledging counter solutions always help, but so do most addicts and murderers. Whatever your mind may convince you, you can NEVER get yourself to do it or follow through unless you really FEEL it. It is nearly impossible to commit to something so altruistically with utmost sincerity unless it is what you really feel, no matter what it is that you desire and no matter what your mind convinces you ( to the most part, you are probably lying to yourself, most of the time b/c of an ego-trip to be convinced you can do and overcome anything, not really). Actually feeling it, not just wanting it, but realizing that change in desire is what makes each pebble skip a lot smoother over the pond. lol
