My news is that I have been accepted into the grad program at NYU to study graphic communications.
Unfortunately, I still have not written my 15-page paper on Soviet-Iraqi relations 1958-1979.
My mom called me on Friday to tell me that a big letter came from NYU to our house. I had her open it up and read it to me over the phone. Congratulations to me! Except I don't actually know if I want to go there yet... After finding out (while sitting in Birks selling tickets for the Ball, with Liz and Sara P-R there trying to talk about the Ball) I went and spent a few hours at the library, completely losing track of time and who I had told my news. So that's why I'm posting it here - to let those who don't know that I might actually be moving to New York next year... What a thought...
This weekend has seemed really long, and I'm actually glad that it's almost the week. Every day that passes brings me closer to finishing school and I just can't wait. I can't wait to not have any more papers to write and exams to take... at least until the Fall? Boo.
My 15-page double spaced hoping-to-be-awesome paper is currently 16 pages, single spaced, and pretty crappy and disorganized. It's now just about 10pm and I'm hoping that in the next couple of hours I can organize my paper, cut out useless information, do more research, and finish writing my paper. Is it possible? Anything is possible I suppose.
