(no subject)
overall this break has been interesting i guess.. i didn't really do all too much i worked a little and did a lot of lounging around and just being lazy as hell... i did find out that i'm getting a car that my parents are gonna pay for thank godddd, and that i'm moving into my own apartment next august, also hopefully if i work my ass off i can go to jamaica with two close friends this summer.
i've also realized a lot about my friends here, there are some that i know will always be there for me and won't pretend that i don't exist and for that i'm grateful. i've grown closer to some of my friends and almost completely lost touch with others which is sad but i guess it happens in life. i'm just glad that the few friends i do still have in lindenhurst are genuine individuals, and have been that way since i can remember. i think friendship is definitely a two way street, it takes the efforts of two individuals to make something like that last, the same i feel holds true in any relationship.
second semester at AU i hope will be completely different than first, i plan on studying much more and working my ass off for that jamaica vacation. i definitely plan on partying less, exceptions are when i get visitors from the island, but i really do feel like my mind is so clear after almost 3 weeks of true sobriety , it's a good feeling knowing that i don't have to go out and get wasted to have fun.
