Boring, Boring Details...
So, I have sitzprobe (Awkwardly joining the German words for "sit" and "rehearsal") tomorrow...Actually, it's more of a Wandelprobe (Same for "Walking", etc). Maybe I can figure out when I have to turn around to actually look at the conductor around during my "J. Jonah Jameson meets contemporary Opera" scene.
In other news, I was offered a lead role at Janiec Opera Theater for the Production of Camelot. I think it's going to be fun... but I have to buy the more expensive complete vocal score, instead of the songbook... bastards.
I mean, I consider musical theater one of the lowest forms of art there is, but one has to walk before they can run (well, that analogy doesn't make much sense in this case because Contemporary opera is much harder...)
In other news, fuck Puccini, fuck him for making it so hard to feel the damn pulse in his music. Also, for making his music so full of sugary motifs and sappy harmonies; that I think I'm getting musical diabetes. Furthermore, he can eat my shorts for not writing any decent baritone parts.
