Critical mass, the month of April.
So it looks like I have three weeks to go through. Umm.. lets see if I can do it! o.o
Lets see, if I worked Alvin from apr6-8, then Hung on the 9th, I think I faked it being a two-day just so I could sleep all day with Anton on the 10th. The tag (pics) will be put on every day where I have pictures from, that you will be seeing in a later post. Step by step short updates as far as I can remember: GO.
Mon Apr6: (pics) Alvin, day 1. Anton found out his leg bulge was not a staph infection at his American Teen shoot, then his brakes went out on his way home. On Alvin, I met RJ and a few others including the storyboard artist, Peterpaul! Hes way cool. Talked about cons, anime an stuff. Found out RJ had a lot in common with Anton (Well, and myself. A love for tokidoki.. lol) through conversation, so I ended up Arranging for them to train together that night in Northridge at "White Lotus". Anton and I went to Barry's to pick at movies and sleep in the company of Barry, Nick, Dustin, Eric, and a few others after. Very fun.
Tues Apr7: Day 2 of Alvin; I fell asleep in my car since I had arrived early, and ended up an hour late.. oh boy. Mostly hung with RJ and Peterpaul. Exchanged doodles/contacts with Peterpaul. Worked on my Fruits Parlor Lolita picture tons.
Wed Apr8: Day 3, Brought Anton to Spec on Alvin, so we got to work together all day :D RJ ended up not being there. Uh oh. Ended up booked on Hung after turning down a commercial for Alvin, since I thought I was already booked solid. Argh! More Lolita pic work.
Thurs Apr9: Short day on Hung; spent most of the time in photoshop. We were out right after lunch. DB movie that night. Meh...
Fri Apr10: (pics) Stayed at Antons all day, came back home that night.
Sat Apr11: ??
Sun Apr12: ?? Maybe EB work both these days? I dont know ;_; ..Actually, yeah I think so. Hmm.
Mon Apr13: (pics) Worked opening shift at EB, found out my green contacts were the wrong power. Uh oh.
Tues Apr14: Went to Anton's at night despite it being hella out of the way and not saving much time on my morning commute for the next shoot.
Wed Apr15: (pics) Verizon shoot in Malibu. Very windy and cold, and there were hella pelicans camping out on the pier. Drove a girl I didn't know home, and came back to Anton's empty room since he had left to go work on the mentalist. His dad drove him, since his car had gone to the shop. It's still there, actually.
Thurs Apr16: (pics) Verizon day 2. Both days I had not been used in any scenes. Both days there were pelicans thuggin' on the pier. Except today I sketched new postcard designs, which I ended up using instead of the one I came up with on Alvin day 1. I got a call checking my availability and putting me on hold for Friday, Monday and Tuesday, but it wasn't solid. I loitered as much as possible, debating whether or not to go home to get new wardrobe, or to just stay out and tough it while waiting for Anton to get back from the Mentalist. The shoot didn't go through, unfortunately.
Fri Apr17: (pics) Woke up around 10 to take Anton to meet with Marco in Chinatown, where we ate at Foo Chows, and shopped around a little. I had to try so hard not to spend extra money, hehe x_X Went back to my house, can't rememeber what we did.
Sat Apr18: (pics) Worked@ EB, then shopped around a little in the mall with Anton after eating at Red Robin.
Sun Apr19 Worked opening again. I'm having bad luck with getting Scheduled opening shifts on sunday when I request not to. Anton has just been coming with me and sleeping in the car.
Mon Apr20: worked Make it or Break it in Valencia. Brought Anton to spec, but it didn't work out. I had planned on taking Anton back to his own house, but we decided against it.
Tues Apr21: I think we did yardwork. Not sure.
Weds Apr22: Left my own house that night to spend it at Anton's, since I ended up with a 10am calltime for the next day.
Thurs Apr23: Worked on True Jackson at Paramount; It was a fairly short day where I literally sat around for 5 hours working on the postcard, and then sat on set for a ten second scene that was shot two or three times, then we were done at 5pm. I love days like that. (and I love seeing Greg Proops.) Went for some shopping near Hollywood&Highland with Anton, where we found some pretty neat things. I ended up with a new jacket and a total impulse buy camera. I think I overspent by $50. :(
Then around 9pm, confirmed the fairly spontaneous decision to drive out to San Diego to visit Anton's friend Gloria. The plan was to stay the night, and go to the San Diego Zoo all bright and early. We switched off driving and arrived at 11-something-pm. After meeting her, some of her friends, and then spending some time, the three of us ended up going to Ralphs to get a few things for Anton to cook for breakfast; I think it was about 3am at this point. I fell asleep pretty easily despite how little room I had.
Fri Apr24: (pics) Woke up surprisingly early (9 or so) for an overdose of morning snuggles after waking Anton to go make breakfast. He made some spicy beef and rice, then we headed on over to the San Diego Zoo where we saw a slow Loris eating some food.. hehe... and some fighting monkeys. And pandas! And a polar bear that pooed in the water. Ewww. Gloria's friends showed up and we all went to In-n-Out, then back to Gloria's place to nap and stuff. Got a little rest in, but a full night's sleep wasn't so successful.
Sat Apr25: (pics) Started driving back from SD at nearly 6am; Well, made Anton drive. I was hella tired ~_~. We stopped at his place so he could pick up some clothes for the following week in which he would be basically living at my house. Managed to arrive back in Ventura on time to work opening shift 10-2:30. Drove Anton over to Christina's for us to spend the night there.
Sun Apr26: (pics) Woke up really early and laid around for a bit before working the opening shift at EB, picked up Anton from Christina's and went home, where we pretty much just lounged around, and watched New Police Story. I cried. On yeah, my parents left for Arizona this day.
Mon Apr27: Moar lounging, watching youtoobz. Very lazy day.
Tues Apr28: Brought Anton to Glendale and visited Peter Paul (This is his entire first name.) at Disney Toon Studios where he is working on the new Tink movie; worked on my art in a cubicle for a while.
Wed Apr29: Stayed home and played Breakdown.
Thurs Apr30: Family was supposed to come home this evening, but they had a change of plans- Anton and I went to the movies and watched Crank 2, where it was so manly that I grew a pair of testicles-- However, we snuck into "17 Again" afterward, which had just the right amount of fluff for me to lose them right away. I had to scramble to get my shift on Friday covered, and Chris happened to agree to cover Saturday too (So yay, I could go to the picnic!). Went back home to sleep before the next shoot:
Friday May1: We drove up to Santa Monica for an Allstate commercial, another unsuccessful Spec job. I should have just said he was union. :( Plain ol' 8 hour day, done at 4:30. We went back to Antons house, and I found out my parents were postponed for yet another day. We drove up to Bakersfield around 9pm, and arrived around 11-ish. Anton was kinda jerk-ish this evening cos he prefers to be sneaky instead of honest on some small things that I know about anyway because he is a -terrible- liar. Omg its not a big deal, srsly. Dork. It's alright, we recover quickly. I had kind of napped on and off, but I didn't go to -sleep- until maybe 6am.
Sat May2: (pics) Woke up at 9-something again and had Breakfast with Anton's mom. She had some sort of facial treatment which left her a bit swollen. Therefore she "could NOT go out" though she needed some things, so I offered to do her shopping for her. So we went out, and I went in while she hid in the car with giant sunglasses on. Hehe.
Anton was still asleep when we got back, so I showered, got dressed and straightened up my car while waiting for him. Sure enough, he was fine after he woke up. Anton took a while to get ready, so we arrived at the park right down the street for the little Bakersfield cosplay gathering around 1:30 or so. We (well, I attempted) sparring a bit, ate, chilled, met peeps. Pretty cool. Can't wait to see more pictures. Then I will steal them and put them on my LJ. n_n
Went back to Antons, then to Bento express. Picked up delicious slush at Sonic's, then back to Antons again where we watched Kung Fu Dunk before driving home. Apparently my parents had arrived back home around 2pm.
Sun May3: Somehow managed to wake up early again work, and found out my parends bought A FRIGGIN RV. A BIG ONE. LIKE THEY HAD TO CUT THE TREES ON THE PROPERTY TO GET IT IN. oh boy. But checking it out would have to wait cuz I had to go to work. I had too many "hablas espanol" that morning. Ugh. Anton and I wandered the mall a bit after, looking for this slimy creepy who I had an unfortunate encounter with during the last hour of my shift. I had been stacking up games on the side of the register to go back, organizing them by console. These two skinhead-cholo guys come by the 360 wall, and all I hear is the word "fuck" used several times, while some small children are nearby. I shoot them a "what the hell you guys." look, and manage to knock over a stack of games. I KNEW this would look bad, and I went into a full on slo-mo facepalm as I knelt to pick them up.
Cholo guy: What, you nervous, honey? *hehehe*
Me: Um. No. Just kind of put off by the language around the small children. (as one moves to help) No, no. I've got it.
I picked up the games, and moved away to the PSP wall, where I overheard them saying something like "No, go ask the girl that's working, go ask the girl over there!" amongst each other. I cringed. Apparently Adam started chucking at this, and they went all "WHAT YOU GOT A PROBLEM?" all thug-like, to which he said "oh, no, this e-mail, it's about zombies. Hilarious..."
Jason managed to snag their question, but that didn't save me from Cholo number two, "alex", by the DS wall. He kept asking questions until I said the "boyfriend" word, then he got the hell out of there. Eugh.
So the rest of the day, in short, was buying Umbrella Chronicles and Monkey King for the Wii, eating, buying fabric. going home and messing around with the RV, playing Monkey King, then playing Breakdown.
Mon May4: Anton and I went Running around 4pm to Meiners Oaks. Did about 6 miles, stipping at McDonalds in the middle. I tripped and fell on my face once, and then fell on my ass once. Both sides for good measure I suppose. Both of them being Anton's fault. >:p We drove over to Christina's at 9:30 and slept there.
Tues May5: I picked up some nail polish at Amuse in the morning, and Anton and I slept in the car for a bit while figuring out how to plan the day. We went back to my place for a bit, where I moved some more of my stuff into my closet, we showered, then took off again at 5. Picked up Dustin in Simi, then drove to UCLA to meet up with RJ and get into the Gym where I filmed them doing flips and shit. We weren't driving away until 1:30am, where we stopped at Yoshinoya for a bite. I dropped Anton and his stuff off at his place, then took Dustin back too. I got home at 4am, AND SOMEHOW WOKE UP AT 9 AGAIN. UGH.
It's now 2pm, I'm done with this post, and I am going to go eat and work on hats. I swear. D:
