o HELLS yeah, you get some NASTY people in retail! The crew not letting you take a break from SITTING because they're trying to get ac much done before lunch as they can is NOT them being asses!! Someone screaming in your face to get your manager because you can't return something NEW for all their money back, because they put a game in their 360 that was standing up and now has a ring burnt into it due to their own carelessness.. THAT is being an ass!

I had someone apologize to me yesterday for getting agitated, without me showing anything at his attitude. It put a little spark in my day, knowing that some people at least realize what they do is inappropriate.

Well that, and telling a fat lady she's raised her kids poorly. (I was off the clock..lol)
They were taking things off the walls and throwing it back in any place, so I said "if you could put things back where you find them, instead of making the wall a bigger mess, I bet the people here would appreciate it. Thank you :)"

At the other side of the store, this cow waddles up to me (Of course, mexican..) WHAT DID YOU SAY TO MY DAUGHTERS
I repeat
YOU DONT NEED TO BE TELLING MY DAUGHTERS THAT
"Well maybe you do"
NO YOU DONT NEED TO BE TELLING MY DAUGHTERS THAT
"not like I work here, I don't care"

I had my purse and everything by then, I was in a terrible mood, I really didn't care. :p

Oh I understand working background! We have to get as much done as possible so that we can meet the call sheet's objective. Especially if we're out on location and rely heavily on natural day light. :O

Let's see my retail horrors at this point are:
-Dealing with ignorant Viet-FOBs. I really hate them! XO
-Stroller moms who stupidly knock over stuff and break merchandise.
-Parents who bring in undisciplined children and letting them run amok.
-Dealing with an over stressed, high strung store manager. Which causes more unnecessary stress than it needs to be.
-Being asked to do holds when we don't do them during the holiday months and the semi-annual sales.
-People asking for coupons when we don't give them out anymore.

In the end, customers are nothing but a bunch of stupid jerks. XP
