Spring break rocked! I was in Ocean City from Tuesday to Saturday. The boardwalk was highly boring but hey, it's the off season so I wasn't surprised. We pretty much just spent our time hanging around in Amanda's condo, which kicked ass. We went swimming in the indoor pool (on the 22nd floor) and pretty much partied every night. People were coming and going, which was cool, but I was among the bunch who stayed there the whole time. To Mary, I'm glad you made the suggestion for The Shark restaurant. It was nice to take a break from the ordinary fast food and eat at a nice, upscale restaurant. I finished my Happy Kwanzaa sign on Wednesday. I'm so proud of myself. It'll be part of my presentation this coming Wednesday. Wish me success, guys.

It's good to be back on the good ol' UMBC campus, but I definitely don't miss the work. I have a paper to write for French 302 that's due tomorrow morning, a Dance 260 presentation on Wednesday to prepare for, and a presentation in French 302 on Thursday. Today started off busy and frustrating as hell. I did a lot of running around on campus, courtesy of my lack of a housing contract. I had to deal with Financial Services, the Financial Aid office, and ResLife. My mom and I were both pretty irritated and she accidently snapped at me on the phone, but it's cool because she called me later and apologized. Then she called me and let me know that Vicky from ResLife called her letting her know that my housing contract was available for me to pick up. My frustration instantly melted away of course. I was a tad worried because the housing contracts are due this Friday. But thank God, everything worked out. I'm still shooting for Harbor next year. Bryn (aka Tyler, my current roomie) is gonna be my roomie next year. I nonchalantly asked him earlier who he wanted to room with next year and he looked at me and said "you". In my mind I was just like "awwww". Here's a straight guy who wants to stay roomies with me. Cool beans. Congrats to Jay Riley on his becoming an RA in Harbor. Good times if we end up on the same floor. It would

Chinese class was actually fun today. We took a break from lessons (which I knew we were gonna do) and practiced writing in Chinese with paint, brushes, and scroll paper. It was so much fun. Wei (the teacher) let us write pretty much whatever we wanted. I asked her if I could write something that I could keep and she said yes. I ended up writing my name in Chinese (Sun Lì Tè). I later realized my name in Chinese sounds kinda like the word "sunlight" in English. How awesome is that? Maybe it'll be a future AIM screen name. Just kidding. Drop by my room if you want to see what it looks like in characters. I also wrote "quan zi he nà ji" at the bottom, which means "community and self-acceptance". I guess all my dorm friends and FA friends were on my mind at the time. Well, I'm gonna go procrastinate on my paper some more and listen to Chopin. FA, I love you.
