Last post about the duplex
I just realized that some of you here don't know me over on "That Other Social Networking Site", ie CrackBook, so you aren't all aware of the latest and most fabulous news of this whole adventure.
THE SIGNING IS COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!!!
As of 8:45pm, Monday October 25th, (yes, one week late), I no longer own property anywhere. At all. It is done.
This is a good thing. There was one delay, when the notary screwed up by sending the wrong amount to the lending bank for the mortgage. She then FAILED in a most spectacular way to contact my agent to let him know. The buyers had to be the ones to tell him at the very eleventh hour that the first appointment had been canceled, but we got another one lines up for the following week and, now that all is said and done, I am so relieved.
It is done. *BOUNCY!!!!!*
